Quincy's Kids
For K-5th Grade
The focus of Quincy's Kids is to aid children who may be dealing with Autism, Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD), ADHD, Abuse/Neglect, and Abandonment.
Through horse-related Bible lessons and group activities, our goal is for these children to gain hope and develop life skills. With weekly gatherings, kids learn to care for the horses' basic needs, such as, bathing, brushing, and feeding. They also participate in other special activities, like guiding the animals through obstacle courses and dressing them up for Christmas and summer cookouts. These activities encourage children to think not of themselves, but open them up to others and work in a group, learning to control large animals, as well as, their own actions and attitudes.
Group Home Visits
Our visits with group homes with special needs adults include brushing the ponies/horses, petting the cats, and enjoying the farm atmosphere.
