Rio Grande is a bay roan Pony of the Americas, about 20 years old, and a Copper Horse Crusade rescue. He was dumped at a kill pen when his leg was seriously injured and developed arthritis. His attitude was like Quincy's, depressed and frustrated from being tossed around. He has really turned around, even becoming buddies with Trigger.
